December of 2015 we saw the Aladdin show at the Hyperion Theater close for the last time. The show ran for 13 years. Since December they have been gearing up for the Frozen show that will replace Aladdin. There have been very much mixed reviews about the Frozen show to people who are very excited to see the show to those that just wishes that Disney would just "Let it go." Starting today, May 27,2016, Frozen has opened it's doors for guests who want to know what has replaced the Aladdin show. The new show brings the audiences into the world of Frozen and show the journey of Anna and Elsa. Director Liesl Tommy, who has been nominated for a Tony Award, brings elaborate costumes and sets, cast and crew of more then 200 people, six musical numbers and there will be a 2,200 square foot video wall.

So today is the grand re-opening of Disney's California Adventure to celebrate Carsland and Buena Vista street. I wasn't able to make it there today but I hope that everyone that has gone today to see the new areas truly enjoy it. I was at Disneyland on Wednesday and all of the employees were truly excited for the grand opening of Carsland and kept giving me and my sister tips of things to do. Tip #1: Check out Sally's Cozy Cone Motel Tip #2: Go to Flo's Tip #3: In the original movie Fillmore and Sarge are staring at the blinking yellow stop light and Fillmore goes "I'm tellin' you, man, every third blink is slower" then Sarge goes "The '60s weren't good to you, were they?" Well I got a tip from a cast member saying that the imagineers made the third blink slower. On Buena Vista Street there will be a Starbucks located, I believe, where the old train use to be on the right hand side when you enter the park.

In a week there is a grand re-opening of Disney's California Adventure and also Cars Land. 

Well Disney has done it again: They have raised their prices. I was going to be getting the premium season pass this year so that I can go on my birthday (summer baby). but I am not able to nor willing to pay the $649 for the pass. I did the math for two people that want to buy the southern california pass it would be around $700 for them to go. That is way to hard for them to be spending that much money for them to be spending. It is even harder for a family of 5. Yes it is to get money back from the creation of Carsland, Buena Vista Street (when you first enter Disney's California Adventure) and the entire refurb of the Matterhorn in Disneyland. For me personally I have always been amazed by Fantasmic  because I have grown up with that water show/live action. So when I heard that California Adventure was getting their own water show I had very mixed emotions about World of Color. I am still not amazed by WOC it may take many years for me to fully appreciate this water show. I have seen this water show. My Fiancé and I were standing front row and almost to the center. I was by far more enthralled by the mechanics of the show then I was paying attention to the show.   

It is very sad that ElecTRONica has ended. This by far was one of the reasons why I went into California Adventure at night. It was a perfect mix of two of my favorite things: Tron: Legacy and dance music. It will be sad to see it go but will also be exciting the next thing that they will do to replace. 

I am super excited for Cars Land I can't even explain it. This video that Disney has put together to show the different things that will be in Cars land.
