Sad news in the Disney world to report. Those of you that know of Push the Talking Trash Can will be sad because they have retired his as on February 9th. Many in the Disney community have been arguing about if it was true or not but a screen shot of a internal Disney message board stated that they aren't having him anymore. As of today (February 10th) Disney said that since contract negotiations are confidential they are willing to admit that they couldn't come to terms and agree on continuing with the guy who made Push. If you don't know who Push is he is a trash can that moves around Tomorrowland at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World and he talks with guests, dances with them and just interacts with them.

Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me. Very classic line and everyone knows that song but how many people actually know the history of the ride which prompted the idea of the recent Pirates of the Caribbean movies featuring Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Pirates is in four different parks: Disneyland in California, Walt Disney World in Florida, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park in Paris. The original ride is at Disneyland in California. Walt sadly passed away right before Pirates opened at Disneyland. Disneyland California: Pirates was to be a walk through wax museum type of a attraction instead of a boat ride. The ride is located right when you first walk into New Orleans Square. The facade is of the antebellum era featuring the 31 star flag (1850's). When you get to the front of the line you will see a sign over head that says Lafitte's landing which was name for the famous pirate Jean Lafitte. He had fought alongside the US Army at the Battle of New Orleans in the War of ...

So today is the grand re-opening of Disney's California Adventure to celebrate Carsland and Buena Vista street. I wasn't able to make it there today but I hope that everyone that has gone today to see the new areas truly enjoy it. I was at Disneyland on Wednesday and all of the employees were truly excited for the grand opening of Carsland and kept giving me and my sister tips of things to do. Tip #1: Check out Sally's Cozy Cone Motel Tip #2: Go to Flo's Tip #3: In the original movie Fillmore and Sarge are staring at the blinking yellow stop light and Fillmore goes "I'm tellin' you, man, every third blink is slower" then Sarge goes "The '60s weren't good to you, were they?" Well I got a tip from a cast member saying that the imagineers made the third blink slower. On Buena Vista Street there will be a Starbucks located, I believe, where the old train use to be on the right hand side when you enter the park.

In a week there is a grand re-opening of Disney's California Adventure and also Cars Land. 

Well Disney has done it again: They have raised their prices. I was going to be getting the premium season pass this year so that I can go on my birthday (summer baby). but I am not able to nor willing to pay the $649 for the pass. I did the math for two people that want to buy the southern california pass it would be around $700 for them to go. That is way to hard for them to be spending that much money for them to be spending. It is even harder for a family of 5. Yes it is to get money back from the creation of Carsland, Buena Vista Street (when you first enter Disney's California Adventure) and the entire refurb of the Matterhorn in Disneyland. Back in the 60's this was the most awesome thing that people had ever seen. It is still currently in Disneyland in Adventureland. 

It is very sad that ElecTRONica has ended. This by far was one of the reasons why I went into California Adventure at night. It was a perfect mix of two of my favorite things: Tron: Legacy and dance music. It will be sad to see it go but will also be exciting the next thing that they will do to replace. 

I am super excited for Cars Land I can't even explain it. This video that Disney has put together to show the different things that will be in Cars land. I love The Blue Sky Celler because they show the guests all the cool and different things that they will be putting into California Adventure.  Also included in this post is of the neon signs that will light up the night sky when Cars Land.  Please enjoy this short video and leave comments if you would like to know more.
