Disney Lovers Unite

Disney Star Mia Talerico who is 5 years old has been getting online death threats. Her mother alerted Disney security when she noticed the threats on her daughters Instagram account. Once Disney security was alerted they brought it to the attention of the LAPD. So as of now the LAPD are investing these "very sensitive" threats against her life. She started recieving messages such as how she should "die in hell" back in January according to TMZ. Mia Talerico is on one of Disney's most popular show "Good Luck Charlie" which has made news recently for featuring the first openly gay couple on the Disney network set to air this past January. NO one is sure if the threats that were said against her were due to the gay couple on the show or if it is about something else.

It is a sad day when you have to announce that Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is now on a indifinite hold because of script problems. The working title of the movie is going to be Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales and was to come out in the Summer of 2015 but now word is out that it won't be until 2016 that we will be getting the movie. Because Lone Ranger didn't do as well as was expected in theaters Disney wanted to keep the cost of Pirates 5 under $200 million which may or may not happen. Another reason is for the fact that no one can agree on the outline and can't get everything together for the script.

So Disney has bought Lucasfilms for $4 billion in stocks and cash. I was rather excited for the fact that they would actually start making really good movies with the production part of Lucasfilms. But after reading that they will be making Star Wars parts 7, 8, and 9 I am rather disappointed in the fact that they want to dig the Star Wars movies into the ground some more after Lucas doing all his non-sense with the movies. Parts 1, 2, and 3 were not all that great to start with, 4, 5, and 6 had amazing story lines and were rather interesting to watch. What more is there to tell in this saga? I totally understand the buying of Lucasfilms from George Lucas. Don't really think that Disney would want to keep spending their money on licensing on products and having Star Wars weekend in Walt Disney World, Star Tours, and also the little Star Wars show in Disneyland. So it was good that they bought the company but not the greatest idea to make three more Star Wars movies.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO Robert Iger annoyed that starting in 2015 Disney will ban junk-food advertising on the television channel and also their radio programs. When they do feature food products, according to the regulations, the products will have to meet the nutritional guidelines. So that means the cartoon characters and also those live actors will not be allowed to be seen eating junk food because it would be giving those that watch the shows the wrong thought about food. By the time 2012 is over any kind of food product that will be sold in the parks and resorts will have the Mickey Check seal of approval which means that the food that are in the resorts and parks have passed the nutrition standards.

Well Disney has done it again: They have raised their prices. I was going to be getting the premium season pass this year so that I can go on my birthday (summer baby). but I am not able to nor willing to pay the $649 for the pass. I did the math for two people that want to buy the southern california pass it would be around $700 for them to go. That is way to hard for them to be spending that much money for them to be spending. It is even harder for a family of 5. Yes it is to get money back from the creation of Carsland, Buena Vista Street (when you first enter Disney's California Adventure) and the entire refurb of the Matterhorn in Disneyland. Today is Goofy's birthday today (May 25, 2012). He is 79 years young today.

The latest news that has come from Pixar is that they will be releasing Finding Nemo in 3D. They announced last fall that they would be releasing it in 3D. I have very mixed feelings about them releasing movies that have been out for awhile in 3D. They don't always make the movies all that much better.

Back in the 60's this was the most awesome thing that people had ever seen. It is still currently in Disneyland in Adventureland. 

For me personally I have always been amazed by Fantasmic  because I have grown up with that water show/live action. So when I heard that California Adventure was getting their own water show I had very mixed emotions about World of Color. I am still not amazed by WOC it may take many years for me to fully appreciate this water show. I have seen this water show. My Fiancé and I were standing front row and almost to the center. I was by far more enthralled by the mechanics of the show then I was paying attention to the show.   

I love high energy parades. I really do. Sadly Disneyland doesn't have any more of the high energy parades. Only Walt Disney World have them. 

Ever since I was a little girl I have always adored Beauty and the Beast and everything about the story. When I found this I cried so hard with joy that there was such a well done production of the story let alone done by Disney. It was by far the best 24 minutes and 39 seconds of my life.
