Fans are up in arms about the frozen short that is before the new movie Coco. Most shorts that are before the movies are only a few minutes long and are very adorable. With the Frozen short it is a 25 minute short. That is like a full tv episode. Many are upset that with the Frozen short and all of the previews they are sitting and waiting to see Coco for roughly 40 minutes. In my honest opinion that is far too long to be waiting to see a movie. There were so many that were upset that on December 8th they will be removing the short. So if you have a little one that is in love with Frozen better see it before then.

From now till June 25th Disney will be showing a preview of the upcoming Cars 3 movie in 3D with the special in-theater effects that are built in at The Bug's Life Theater. The theater is located in Bugs land which is right next to Cars Land. The movie will be opening June 16, 2017.

The Film Censorship board in Malaysia are not happy with the "gay scene" where two of the male characters are dancing in a ballroom. The film board claims that the scene will promote homosexuality. Disney is standing their ground and telling the film board in Malaysia that they will not be cutting the scene because the scene is only three seconds long. The chairman Abdul Halim Adbul Hamid "It is in our guidelines that we don’t allow L.G.B.T. activity in movies in Malaysia, They are the ones not allowing the movie to be shown. We approved it with a minor cut.” The chairman says that if Disney had only cut the three second scene they would have given the movie a PG-13 rating.

Moana has just come out in theaters this weekend and has already earned $21.826 million dollars on the best weekend to be pulling in the money. Thanksgiving weekend is known to be the best weekend to release movies as more people are going to the movies then any other time of the year.

The day after the USA's presidential election we welcome Donald Trump as the President of the USA. There is much uproar about it but non the less Disney will be welcoming him as the 45th president. The Hall of Presidents will close January 17 2017 and will reopen July 4, 2014.  

News is that Walt Disney World will be using drones for their new holiday show at Disney Springs. They just recently got permission from FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) to be able to fly drones around the parks. Disney has said that they have permission from now till November 2020 to be able to have drones fly around the Disney parks in Florida and California. According to the FAA the waiver can be cancelled at any time and that Disney has to have drone operators who have their pilot certificates and they are allowing the aircraft to be flown at night.

The Haunted Mansion Holiday has now arrived at the Disneyland Resort. With the arrival of the layover comes a new gingerbread house and a new character. Sally has now arrived in the graveyard scene and as the gingerbread house. In past years of the layover Sally has only been featured in the hallway to Doombuggies as one of the portraits and at the very end as the guests are leaving the ride telling Sandy Claws to hurry back. So welcome Sally to the Haunted Mansion Holiday.  

The Haunted Mansion in Walt Disney World will be closing down November 28 2016 through December 1 2016. As of right now they are currently working on the outside of the ride and the inside of the ride is still running.

December of 2015 we saw the Aladdin show at the Hyperion Theater close for the last time. The show ran for 13 years. Since December they have been gearing up for the Frozen show that will replace Aladdin. There have been very much mixed reviews about the Frozen show to people who are very excited to see the show to those that just wishes that Disney would just "Let it go." Starting today, May 27,2016, Frozen has opened it's doors for guests who want to know what has replaced the Aladdin show. The new show brings the audiences into the world of Frozen and show the journey of Anna and Elsa. Director Liesl Tommy, who has been nominated for a Tony Award, brings elaborate costumes and sets, cast and crew of more then 200 people, six musical numbers and there will be a 2,200 square foot video wall.

On May 31st the House of Blues will be closing their doors at the Disneyland Resort's Downtown Disney to be moving to Anaheim GardenWalk which is a much bigger property then they had at Downtown Disney. Anaheim GardenWalk has been struggling with attendance and believes that adding the House of Blues and a Latin dance club that they will be bringing the people that they need to make the property worth their wild. From May 31st to when the new property opens up the 300 employees will be laid off. They will all be brought back as employees at the Anaheim GardenWalk location.

There will be a couple new upgrades coming to the FastPass+. When it comes to make the selections it is no longer required to make all three all at once. Now you are going to be able to make one or two selections and then later on make the last decision.  The second upgrade would be that once all three of the original FastPass+ choices that the guest will be able to go into the My Disney Experience app and select three more choices where as before the guests had to go to a kiosk and select three more experiences.  Upgrades will go into effect starting tomorrow April 10,2016.

Sad news in the Disney world to report. Those of you that know of Push the Talking Trash Can will be sad because they have retired his as on February 9th. Many in the Disney community have been arguing about if it was true or not but a screen shot of a internal Disney message board stated that they aren't having him anymore. As of today (February 10th) Disney said that since contract negotiations are confidential they are willing to admit that they couldn't come to terms and agree on continuing with the guy who made Push. If you don't know who Push is he is a trash can that moves around Tomorrowland at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World and he talks with guests, dances with them and just interacts with them.

Disney Star Mia Talerico who is 5 years old has been getting online death threats. Her mother alerted Disney security when she noticed the threats on her daughters Instagram account. Once Disney security was alerted they brought it to the attention of the LAPD. So as of now the LAPD are investing these "very sensitive" threats against her life. She started recieving messages such as how she should "die in hell" back in January according to TMZ. Mia Talerico is on one of Disney's most popular show "Good Luck Charlie" which has made news recently for featuring the first openly gay couple on the Disney network set to air this past January. NO one is sure if the threats that were said against her were due to the gay couple on the show or if it is about something else.

So I saw Saving Mr. Banks recently and I loved it. The movie protrays Walt wanting to make Mary Poppins into a movie but having to work with because she wanted it to be done her way with out all the fluff that Walt would have put I to the movie. It was a battle between Walt, Sherman brothers and the author and the other guy.  The movie had flash backs of her life having an alohic father who couldn't hold a steady job and uprooting the family far away from where they were living. Her mom couldn't handle having three children while taking care of her husband so she called in the nanny to help take care of everything.  Many people are complaining that they made her into a very mean person who wanted everything her way. If they had done any kind of research on the history of the making and history of it then they would have known that she was even more difficult to work with and so was Walt. There is a movie coming out named Escape from Tomorrow. You may or may not have heard of this movie. Escape from Tomorrow is a fan made movie that was made without Disney's permission. They were at the Sundance Film Festival. The director of the movie spent two years in Korea editing the movie because of fear of Disney's lawyers and the beat down that they would cause.  The movie's plot is the father becomes obsessed with a couple of under aged girls on the last day of his family's vacation. He looses his job on the last day of the vacation and doesn't tell his family.   The style of the movie is a futuristic/terror movie. Here is the trailer:
